Backgrounds are available in the object browser’s "Design" -> "Background" tab.
You can restrict the selection of backgrounds in the object browser’s selection box to a specific topic.
Multicolour backgrounds are a special case.
They are textured (patterned) backgrounds in 42 different shades which are available in a colour selection box.
This should give you an option to suit any combination of images.
These are a collection of solid single colour backgrounds in a number of colours as well as black and white.
You can insert a background for the double page spread by double clicking the thumbnail in the object browser. To apply the background to a right or left page only, hold down the left mouse button and drag the background onto the required page.
There are also some buttons at the bottom of the object browser for insert operations.
To display the background on all pages, there is no need to insert the background individually on each page.
You can use the commands in the pop-up menu (right click the thumbnail).
If you do not add a background to a page, the page background will be white.
The "Preview and insertion control" (below the photo thumbnails) contains the commands "Image as left background", "Image as right background" and "Image as background on both pages". You can use these tools to define the currently selected image as the background for the double page spread or the right or left-hand pages of your CEWE PHOTO BOOK.
In contrast to the backgrounds supplied with the software, you can select any image you have used as a background in the product editor and edit the image in the photo viewer.
This means that you can edit the image, modify the hue or brightness, or apply an image effect.
